The Bald Hills Wind Farm is located approximately 10kms south east of Tarwin Lower in South Gippsland. The Bald Hills Wind Farm site covers approximately 1750ha of largely cleared cattle and sheep grazing farmland.
The wind farm site consists of two distinct areas. The northern section is approximately 10kms from the coast with hilly terrain running north to south at the rear of the site at an appropriate angle to the prevailing wind. The southern section is located on gently sloping farmland, with turbines located more than 2kms from the coast.
